AhlulBayt News Agency: The Palestinian Hamas resistance movement has strongly condemned the assassination of several high-ranking Iranian commanders in recent Israeli attacks on Iran. Hamas emphasized that these military leaders had been steadfast supporters of the Palestinian cause against Israeli aggression.
The Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ armed wing, issued a statement on Monday paying tribute to Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Baqeri, Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Chief Commander Major General Hossein Salami, and Commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters Major General Gholam Ali Rashid.
The Gaza-based group highlighted that these commanders played a pivotal and historic role in supporting Palestine, stating that their sacrifices reflect decades of unwavering commitment against Israeli occupation.
The statement asserted that time will reveal the significance of their contributions, which serve as a source of strength in the Palestinian struggle against Israel, bringing them closer to final victory.
The Qassam Brigades also praised Iran’s large-scale retaliatory strikes against Israeli military installations and strategic sites, carried out as part of Operation True Promise III.
The group described these strikes as heroic, stating that they shattered Israeli illusions and demonstrated that its aggression cannot break the will of freedom-seeking people.
The operations have strengthened the determination of resistance forces to inflict heavy losses on Israel, the statement added.
Finally, the Qassam Brigades reaffirmed its full support for the Iranian people and leadership, expressing hope for the ultimate victory over Israel and the complete liberation of the al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
